Aussie country superstar, Keith Urban speeds right into Bristow VA to give his fans the time of their lives at Jiffy Lube Live.
Finally, the moment country fans have been waiting for, a hot Saturday night for some good ole country music. I must say the Australian accent is a plus. The parking lots opened up at 4pm getting ready for the tailgate pre-show party. The parking lot was filled with a sea of people who most definitely got their pre-game on. Once doors opened people made their way to find either their seats, )or in some peoples case to get a good spot right against the barricade in the general admission pit or a better view from the lawn), food and beer and or grab some killer merchandise that Keith Urban had.
It was an early night here at Jiffy Lube Live, the show started early so that made for an early night. Urban was slated to take the stage at 8pm which was a fairly decent time. After the opening set by Ingrid Andress, it was time for the man himself. The lights went out around 8:10ish so a little late there (just kidding). A back light of orange filled the stage and a silhouette of Keith Urban appeared with a guitar in hand. The fans went absolutely wild, the screams were deafening and the hands were raised. Urban opened up the night with Tumbleweed, then immediately transitioned into one of his most popular songs Days Go By.
All night the fans stayed on their feet and they sang word for word throughout the 23 song setlist that Urban treated the fans. The setlist tonight at Jiffy Lube Live consisted of older material and newer material, such as his newest single Brown Eyes Baby from Urban’s discography. Hell he even through in a cover of John Denver’s Thank god I’m a Country Boy, which please note the fans went absolutely crazy for. Urban ended his set with Blue Ain’t Your Color, The Fighter and Wasted Time. But just when you think that he was done for you thought wrong, Urban then returned to the stage to perform an encore song which was Stupid Boy. Check out Keith Urbans full setlist below:
