Right outside of Pittsburgh, there’s a venue called The Pavilion at Star Lake. This season they have hosted some pretty big names at their venue this year BUT not as big as the legendary rock band KISS. This is the last tour the band has stated and of course you already know that the band and crew will pull out all the stops to give the fans the concert of a lifetime.
KISS had no opening performers except for I believe a painter by the name of David Garibaldi. Around 8:45 PM it was time for these rock legends to take the stage. The band came down on these platform disks, a whole ton of pyro and were greeted by screaming fans. The band opened up with Detroit Rock City. From the moment the band takes the stage to the end of their set then the encore, this band shows nothing but appreciation for their fans, and their job on stage. I have seen a lot of bands and musicians live and I must say this band shows so much interaction with their fans and overall put on one hell of a show.
Tonight in Burgettstown Pennsylvania, KISS treated fans to a twenty song setlist that consisted of so many hits. Not only did they play many hits there was also some stunts performed by bassist Gene Simmons which during I Love It Loud he manages to breathe fire and then during his bass solo later in the set he spits blood (fake of course I’d hope). Simmons was the only one to do some cool stuff, Paul Stanley also flew over the crowd to the B-Stage located near front of house/soundboard area to perform two songs. The songs performed on the B-Stage were Love Gun and I Was Made for Loving You.
The band then ended their set with Black Diamond. KISS then returned back to the stage to perform a three song encore which consisted of Beth, Do You Love Me and of course Rock and Roll All Night. Check out the bands setlist below:
