What a lucky day for Oliver Tree fans in the DMV!
A sold out show at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, max cap, Oliver Tree brought his tour to the DMV and the fans were all for it. Oliver Tree is currently on his Cowboy Tears tour with special guests 347Aidan and Sueco.
To be quite honest if you’ve been to a concert you know not everyone shows up for the opening act, sadly. But in this case, the house was pretty packed before the openers even took the stage. Sueco, an American rapper who blew up on TikTok with over thirty million streams on his song “Paralyzed” took the stage first. I may be a little uncultured when it comes to the social media world except for instagram, I had no idea who this guy was. But after his set he definitely gained a fan. The fans went absolutely crazy when he took the stage, from start to finish fans knew his songs word for word. Did I mention Sueco also destroyed his guitar and threw signed parts of it to some lucky fans? Insane right? Check out his setlist below:
Paralyzed
SOS
Primadona
It Was Fun While it Lasted
Today
Loser
Story of My Life (Illenium Cover)
It’s Going Good
Sober/Hungover
Fast
After an insane, full of energy set from Sueco, it was time for 347Aidan, another artist that blew up on the app TikTok. 347Aidan is an eighteen year old rapper/singer-songwriter that is from Ontario Canada. Yet again, another artist I was not familiar with and left quite impressed with his set. Now I will say the energy went from through the roof to a little bit calmer but these two artists fit the bill perfectly. 347Aidan played a shorter setlist but still managed to get all the fans off their feet and singing along. He treated the fans to a seven song setlist and even managed to fill in fans about his mom’s passion for making adorable hats, which even threw one into the crowd. See 347Aidans setlist below:
Harmony
Memories!
Demons and Monsters
IDWK
Bad Kids
Normal
Dancing in My Room
After two insanely energetic sets from the opening acts, Sueco and 347 Aidan, it was time for the man of the hour. Honestly I was so extremely excited to finally get to see Oliver Tree in concert. His concerts, his set up, and his music is weird yet absolutely lovable. He is so crazy, its awesome. I mean who wouldn’t love a man with a bowl cut mullet?! The lights went out and a giant roar came from the sold out crowd here in Silver Spring. Finally Oliver Tree took the stage and opened his set with Forget it. At one point Tree joked with the crowd and thanked them for coming out to the show after only two songs in, he left the stage and came back pretending a stage hand was telling him he’s good to give fans more songs.
One thing didn’t expect at an Oliver Tree show was the different personas he had and the few costume changes. About mid set Tree came out in his Cowboy get up, rode a giant cow statue and even had a special guest join him on stage, have you heard of Little Ricky ZR3? Hes an artist, an alien artist on stilts. It was great to see them perform 1993 and Hoops together. Oliver Trees setlist consisted of about seventeen songs in the mix was a few covers and an encore as well. I don’t want to give away what he performed in his set because this is a MUST SEE SHOW! Check out Oliver Trees setlist below:
