The legendary Bush, a rock band from the 90’s are still going strong as they are currently headlining North America with support from Candlebox and Devora. Kicking things off was Devora, then shortly after Candlebox took the stage. The fans were getting antsy as the stage crew started getting the stage set for Bush to take the stage.
Bush, a rock band formed in London had some pretty dedicated fans in the Washington D.C. crowd. The venue for their D.C. stop was The Anthem, lets just say there were some pretty eager fans here in attendance as some waited in line in the early afternoon to make sure they got the prime spot against the barricade, front row.
I have seen Bush live several times and I feel like that saying aging like fine wine is a perfect way to describe these guys. The seasoned rock vets took the stage opening up the night with a much newer song, Identity then frontman Gavin Rossdale grabbed his guitar moving into one of their most popular songs, Machinehead. Bush who is currently supporting their latest record, The Art of Survival, treated fans to a pretty solid setlist which was a next mixture of newer and older material. The setlist for the show consisted of thirteen songs which included The Chemicals Between Us, Bullet Holes, Everything Zen and More Than Machines. The fans were also treated to a three song encore which included fan favorites The Kingdom, Glycerine and Comedown.
