Hailing from Brighton, England, Lovejoy made a stop in D.C. ahead of their performance at Gov Ball, ending their first official U.S. tour. The quartet was treated to a sold out crowd at The Howard Theatre, in front of a rabid fan base. The band performed incredibly well considering they’ve only been official since 2021 with great talent and stage presence. Clearly their music has reach, building such a strong fan base in the U.S. that allowed them to have a nearly sold out tour. I can only imagine this band selling out bigger and bigger venues in the near future especially after they refine their craft even more in the coming years.
