Jiffy Lube Live: On June 11th, which was a very hot Saturday, Luke Bryan brought his Kill The Lights Tour to Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, VA. Being as hot as it was didn’t stop these die hard country music fans from tailgating, drinking and sitting back and relaxing at a good ole country show.
The night opened up with Dustin Lynch, who performed for about a good solid 50 minutes. His 11-song set was highlighted by a love story based on his grandparents life called Cowboys and Angels, as well as his most recent hit single, Mind Reader and Name On It.
Second on the lineup was, Little Big Town. LBT also played a good handful of their award winning hits such as, Pontoon, Little White Church, their most recent album titled track, Pain Killer and their most popular hit, Girl Crush.
After two great sets came to an end, Luke Bryan finally took the stage a little before 9:50. Being so close to a sold out show here at Jiffy Lube Live, the seats, the GA pit and the lawn were full of screeching fans. Bryan, who is one of the top male country performers has a pretty solid fan base, who had no problem proving that they all pretty much knew every single word to every song he sang. Bryan pulled out all the stops during his time on stage which featured his signature, energetic style and his signature dance moves and cheeky smile.
Bryan opened up with one of his most popular singles, Rain Is A Good Thing, luckily it wasn’t raining, even though it probably would’ve cooled things down that night. everyone fan in attendance were already off their feet singing along, swaying back and forth. Bryan moved easily from the song Roller Coaster to an emotional Drink a Beer, in which he wrote this song as a tribute to the two siblings he’s lost a couple years back. Throughout the night, Bryan played all of the mega-hits of his including Crash My Party, Drunk on You, That’s My Kind of Night and Play It Again. He closed out the evening with a two-song encore – Country Girl (Shake It for Me) and I Don’t Want This Night to End.
