Pitbull and Iggy Azalea sure had fans feeling good after their concert here at Merriweather Post Pavilion.
After nothing buy heavy rains the past few days in the DMV, the weather cleared up for Mr Worldwide aka Pitbull and special guest Iggy Azalea. The weather was absolutely perfect for tonight’s show here at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia MD. I must give a shoutout to Merriweather for how fast and effectively they got fans in once gates opened, the reason why i say that is I’ve seen a lot of online bickering about providing proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test and how it would effect the lines etc. But little to no lines here at Merriweather.
Iggy Azalea took the stage first, getting the crowd warmed up she performed in front of a giant LED screen that showed off some pretty cool graphics, and not only did she have all the bells and whistles when it came to production she also sported a pretty interesting body suit that displayed images of Al Pacino from Scarface. Azalea’s set was pretty top notch, she had dancers that followed every move and like mentioned above some pretty impressive graphics that went along with each song. Azalea got the fans out of their seats dancing, singing and screaming at the top of their lungs from the moment she took the stage to the moment she left. Quite the show she put on. She performed a variety of hits from her discography, some old and some from her latest record that she put out this past August called The End of an Era. Check out Iggy Azaleas setlist below:

After Iggy Azalea it was time for the main event, Mr Worldwide aka Pitbull. Ive seen Pitbull the last time he came to Merriweather Post Pavilion and lets just saw some artists need to take notes when it comes to production, Pitbull and his team absolutely no doubt pulls out all the stops to make the show not only fun and energetic but also memorable for the fans. The production of this show came with large panels of LED walls, huge stair cases that lit up, co2 dispensers, bright lights and a whole lot more. Pitbull took the stage and the crowds screams became practically deafening. I must also throw in there that Pitbull has some pretty serious and dedicated fans, I saw groups of people dress exactly like him (They even had bald caps on) and it was pretty great. Throughout the set, he played a huge variety of some older and newer material which fans loved. Check out Pitbulls setlist below:
