Quarters of Change started their new tour in D.C. this week and they made a statement as to what live music is all about. If you were to simply stream this artist you would hear well crafted music that showcases a variety of talent. Live however is a whole different animal, from incredible live vocals to shredding guitar solos, the New York based quartet immediately took command of a sold out crowd at Union Stage. Frontman Ben Roter brought a vivacity that could compete with an experienced veteran. Jasper Harris, and Ben Acker both on guitars and backing vocals also provided a noticeable presence that never faded producing a strong on stage chemistry. Quarters of Change are on the cusp of something great having known nothing about them beforehand I’m glad to say I’ll now be tracking their next moves. Check out the setlist below:
