Thundercat’s ‘In Yo Girl’s City’ tour slide through Washington DC on October 19th, which also happened to be Thundercat’s birthday –talk about a party! Djs Coco & Breezy, started the party off right getting the crowd dancing playing everything from Afrobeat to Kaytranada.
After a brief intermission, the lights went down and the lights on the GIANT Thundercat lit up as the band took to the stage. Thundercat walked out to a thunderous amount of cheers that morphed into over 5,000 people singing “Happy Birthday, Thundercat” which included a couple of fans gifting the bass god a few cool gifts.
Between the songs, vibe and the large thundercats with lasers….it’s safe to say that when he’s in yo girl’s city you and her should go see that cat!
