The High and Low Festival, presented by KROQ, is about to takeover California’s Inland Empire at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino this weekend!
The artist line-up is definitely one to beat the heat. Headliner, Brand New not only will be playing songs from their new album Science Fiction, but this will be the only Southern California set for the band this year. Other big names sharing the stages include; Death Cab For Cutie, Tegan and Sara, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Best Coast, Bad Suns and more! See full line-up below.
In addition to a day filled with great music, how about a laugh or two? The festival will also feature The Hard Times curated comedy area. The place will be filled with hand-picked stand up comedian headliners such as Kurt Braunohler, Mike Lawrence, Cameron Espositoand Guy Branum. Additionally, Eli Olsberg, Emily Heller, Dave Ross, Rhea Butcher, Ryan Long, Chris Fairbanks Allen Strickland Williams, David Gborie, Paige Weldon, Sam Tallent, Solomon Giorgio, Janine Brito, Christ Estrada, and Jay Shingle!
This will be the first time The Hard Times has curated a comedy set for a festival, so make sure you swing by!
This weekends High and Low Festival comes from the mind of Andy Serrao, producer of many successful Southern California festivals and owner of The OC’s iconic venue Chain Reaction. A reflection of both Serrao’s personal listening tastes and the very nature of music, he says the festival’s name has multiple meanings.
“Sonically, music has highs and lows, and emotional highs and lows, and with the California topography, we have the mountains, the desert and the ocean,” says Serrao. “The name High & Low fit for us, with the vision for where we wanted to go. Great music has got me through every aspect of my life. With every high and every low, came a soundtrack in my head that defined my life. This festival is a good representation of artists that do this for myself, and tons of other people.”
