One of billboards artists to watch for 2017, Julia Michaels debuted her first single “Issues” and it’s everything you would expect from one of the industries biggest song-writers. The beautifully composed track released via Republic Records, was produced by Benny Blanco and Stargate, and was written by Julia herself along Benjamin Levin, Tor Erik Hermansen, Mikkel Storleer Eriksen and her usual collaborator Justin Tranter.
Julia put her mark on the industry writing out hit after hit, shaping the sound of Top 40 in 2015/2016. She has co-written on songs with artists such as Little Mix, Nick Jonas, Selena Gomez, Britney Spears, Jason Derulo, Gwen Stefani and Zedd, just to name a few. Doing her own thing though isn’t stopping her behind the music touch, Michaels is currently in the studio co-writing for Selena Gomez’s third studio album.
